E-Learning Available on PIG

A number of e-learning courses are now available for U.S. pork producers. Seven cources were recently added to PIG and are available to registered users (click here to register for FREE). Each course contains a series of lessons which are comprised of exercises, tools such as glossaries and references, and both visual and audio features. The seven courses currently available on PIG include:

  • Pig Husbandry
  • Nursery Management
  • Effective Handling of Pigs
  • Grower-Finisher Management
  • Farrowing Management
  • Breeding and Gestation Management
  • Biosecurity in Pork Production

E-learning courses can be a valuable tool used to train employees, family members, or to further educate yourself and others. Look for more e-learning courses to be posted on PIG in the future.

To view the e-learning courses, visit the PIG Library on the Pork Information Gateway (www.porkgateway.com) and search for “e-learning.”

Practical Ideas to Address High Feed and Production Costs
